Very peaceful place . Currently not operational but tender is already passed by government to develop this airport and to make it operational soon. During election time utilised to conduct rally and to manage crowd . Location is very good and provide lot of convenience to the people. Therefore I am of the opinion that this Airport will perform good in near future.

Darbhanga airport is the nearest airport from muzaffarpur just 50 km away from here , Darbhanga airport has daily flights services to Delhi Mumbai Kolkata Bengaluru Hyderabad Ayodhya and many more metropolitan airport

Airport is in very Wrost condition 😡😠🤐 Bihar and Central Government should Take some Necessary Step as soon as possible (asap) to re-establish this airport as a Largest Airpot in North Bihar✈️✈️🛫🛫🛬🛬 This project also Create Employment and Development of better Infrastructure in Muzaffarpur City🙏✌️

Airport is need more maintanence. The local politician abandoned this place due to their political benefits. I don't know why Muzaffarpur is always ignored for development. Bihar govt has abundance of land for use. They just need good guidance and right path. Last time government used this land as COVID relief camp. Locals are not serious for development.

Such a shame for people's who lives in muzaffarpur or near to the patahi airport . Because they have travel to Patna aur darbhanga to taka a flight waste of time waste of money . And nobody's cares because minister are happy with there life . Waste of land's waste of money dine by goverment .Patna airport could make money . Rich people will make there profits. By wasting our money and time I know Patna airport will face some loses but For Development u need to build patahi airport

Beside of NH 722 Muzaffarpur - Chhapra (Rewa Ghat) Muzaffarpur 843113 in the state of Bihar, in India. It was to be built for the arrival of Indira Gandhi, the then Prime Minister of India. From 1967 to 1982, flights for PMuzaffarpuratna operated on a regular basis from airport based in Patahi, In 2018, this airport was added to UDAN in order to connect people with other cities. RITES delegates surveyed and submitted report. Later ₹60 crore has been issued to reestablish this airport so that flights for Kolkata, Ranchi, Varanasi, Gaya etc in a 30 to 60 seater plane can fly soon. The Government is working on the proposal to arrange 410 acres land for future development.[1] In a letter to the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, the Aviation Minister, Jyotiraditya Scindia demands 475 acres of land to develop Muzaffarpur Airport.[2] The airport is located at an elevation of 174 feet (53 m) above mean sea level. It has one paved runway designated 10/28 which measures 3,990 ft (1,216 m) with asphalt surface.[1]
